Accede is a technique John Egbert uses during his Strife with Dad. He gives in to his Dad's offer of cake. But by captchaloguing it, his copy of Colonel Sassacre's Daunting Text of Magical Frivolity and Practical Japery is pushed out of his Sylladex and lands on the Smoke Pellets, activating them and allowing his escape. This technique has only been used once, and it is unknown if it will ever prove useful again, as John has shown the tendency to use the similar Abscond technique instead.
