Many of the aliens in Homestuck and its spinoffs utilise vehicles resembling Earth's battleships in form and function but capable of aerospace travel.

Problem Sleuth's Chicago Overcoat could also be considered a space battleship in the same vein.

In Homestuck and Hiveswap

The carapacians of Prospit and Derse both use flying battleships in their war on the Battlefield.^[image?] A Prospitian battleship served as John Egbert and Jade Harley's form of transport from the B1 session across the Yellow Yard to the B2 session.

Jake Harley was in possession of his own personal battleship on which he traversed the Medium, collecting Jade's dream self body from the Battlefield and shipping John's Dad with Rose Lalonde's Mom across the Veil. It is unknown through which means Harley came into possession of the ship - whether it was developed with Skaianet's own technology or the technology of the carapacians or trolls visited by Harley - though Andrew Hussie suggests that "some in-session alchemy" was involved.

On Alternia

The Battleship Condescension.

The Alternian empire employs an entire fleet of space battleships, which tend to exploit particularly powerful psychics as sources of power. Important leaders tend to have command of their own ships. The Battleship Condescension was the flagship of the Alternian fleet and the Condesce's personal mode of transport, which she used to visit alien worlds before other ships were sent to invade. After the quashing of the Signless' revolution, the Ψiioniic was forced to become the Helmsman of this ship.

The Battleship Condescension's insignia resembles the logos later used by Crockercorp, with the initials "BC" also matching those of another of the company's names.

Like her ancestor Trizza Tethis also has a battleship of her own. As with much Alternian technology it contains visibly organic and insectoid components, particularly resembling a crustacean not unlike the drones also employed by Alternian leaders.

In the Candy volume, Jane Crocker has a fleet of ships much like her predecessor, large enough to blog out the sun and supplemented by fleet of drones and land vehicles called battlepanzers. The rebel trolls, led by Karkat Vantas and Meenah Peixes, have a similarly-sized fleet, though their ships are “less sleek and imposing than Jane’s, most of them having been scavenged, patchworked, and jury-rigged.”

Jane Crocker's personal battleship resembles the Condesce's, but with an altogether less alien design, incorporating elements of a seafaring battleship from the old Earth and resembling more a spork than the Condesce's trident. Crockercorp-branded incendiary devices are among its arsenal of weapons.
