Where a normal session of Sburb resembles a cosmic game of chess, Caliborn's dead session is instead a vast game of pool; the Hero does not have one planet tailored to himself, but rather 16 planets each with their own tasks. To complete the session, he must pocket 15 of these planets into the black hole at the center of the Incipisphere in the correct order.
In the doomed timeline where Calliope predominated, she had the same quest. Having been tailored to the Lord of Time, however, the path of the conqueror was unviable for her as the Muse of Space. Instead, she took Echidna's Choice to become a martyr and completed her destiny as a ghost.[citation needed]
History[]
Skaia began to darken in the middle of this session's Incipisphere before any of its Heroes even had a chance to enter.[citation needed]
Land of Colours and Mayhem[]
During Caliborn's entry, his sprite turned into a black hole and sucked his home planet Earth into the session with him to act as his first planet. Upon entry, Yaldabaoth took up residence in the planet's core, becoming the Earth's Denizen.
Caliborn's quest on this planet involved the unlocking of many mysterious MSPA command stations, which allowed him to view the goings-on throughout Homestuck and to converse with the story's author. It is unclear if, like Yaldabaoth, these machines appeared spontaneously on the Earth as part of its initial transformation, or if they may have been constructed earlier in the planet's history by some of Caliborn's underlings.
After the unlocking of these towers, Caliborn would be compelled to encounter his Denizen and make The Choice, to be either a martyr or a conqueror. After choosing to become the conqueror, Skaia's blackening would complete, and it would collapse into a black hole, releasing 15 new planets for Caliborn to conquer. After the completion of these new quests, this planet would evolve into its final form, becoming Caliborn's true planet the Land of Colours and Mayhem. Here, Caliborn would spend some time in a station shaped like Lil Cal's head, acting not only as the session's Hero but as an exile to the human kids: given that no traditional Reckoning took place in this session, the origin of this station is not known, though Andrew Hussie appears to have played a part in stocking it.[citation needed] This may also have something to do with another command station later taken into Lord English's possession.

Leprechaun planets[]
Caliborn's quests on these unnamed planets involved locating a powerful bomb and placing it in an optimal location on the planet's surface in order for the explosion to to knock it out of orbit and into the session's black hole. He would then have to escape to the next planet before being caught up in the explosion. After the destruction of each planet, Caliborn unlocks control over another of the leprechauns that would later become the majority of the members of Lord English's gang, the Felt.
Lost in the First Break[]
The seventh, eleventh and fourteenth planets were all sucked into the black hole immediately after the First Break, and as such Caliborn never visited or conquered any of them; their leprechauns were instead unlocked after the destruction of the sixth, tenth and thirteenth. Matching the hats of their associated leprechauns, these planets were maroon, red with a white stripe, and green with a white stripe respectively: much later in the Felt's history, these same three leprechauns were the three Felt members to have already perished before the beginning of the first Homestuck Intermission.
First planet and second planets[]
Little is known about these planets; Caliborn conquered them and unlocked the first and second members of the Felt, Itchy and Doze, whose hats matched the planets' color schemes.
Third planet[]
Caliborn's third planet is covered in a somewhat rocky terrain and chapel-like Renaissance era Russian architecture. Caliborn conquered this planet and unlocked the third member of the Felt, Trace. The planet had a red color scheme matching Trace's hat, and was designed after a radar map of the planet Venus[image?] (a likeness which it shares with the Land of Light and Rain).
Fourth planet[]
Little is known about this planet, other than that Caliborn conquered it and subsequently unlocked the fourth member of the Felt, Clover. The planet was purple, matching Clover's hat.
Fifth planet[]
Caliborn's fifth planet is covered in dune-filled beaches and what appears to be towering Victorian era English architecture. It has turtles as its consorts. Caliborn conquered this planet and unlocked the fifth member of the Felt, Fin. The planet had an orange color scheme matching Fin's hat, and was inhabited by marine creatures sporting a prominent fin on their back to match the leprechaun's name.
Sixth, ninth and tenth planets[]
Little is known about these planets: Caliborn conquered the sixth planet and unlocked the sixth and seventh members of the Felt, Die and Crowbar, and conquered the ninth and tenth to unlock the ninth, tenth and eleventh leprechauns, Stitch, Sawbuck and Matchsticks. The planets were green, yellow with a white stripe and blue with a white stripe to match Die, Stitch and Sawbuck's hats.
Twelfth planet[]
Caliborn's twelfth planet is covered in ashen rocks near an oceanic body of water. An active volcano is seen as well. Caliborn conquered this planet and unlocked the twelfth member of the Felt, Eggs. The planet had a purple color scheme with a white stripe, matching Eggs' hat.
Thirteenth and fifteenth planets[]
Little is known about these planets. After conquering the thirteenth, Caliborn unlocked both the thirteenth and fourteenth members of the Felt, Biscuits and Quarters, thanks to the events of the First Break, and unlocked Cans after conquering the fifteenth planet. These planets had orange and maroon color schemes, respectively, with a white stripe to match Biscuits and Cans' hats.
Eighth planet[]
As in a game of pool, Caliborn's "eighth" planet is actually the last in the sequence; though it sits between the seventh and ninth, he must skip it and return after the destruction of the fifteenth. This planet does not provide a leprechaun upon destruction; just as Snowman acted as the sole Dersite member of the Felt, this planet “HAS BEEN CLAIMED BY THE BLACK QUEEN”, who must be defeated before it can be destroyed, and is colored all black to match.
This planet is covered in 20th Century American commercial architecture, befitting what would become Snowman and the Felt's mobster aesthetic. These very same buildings can also be seen on Alternia's green moon, which was mysteriously introduced into orbit by Lord English and Doc Scratch after the scratch.
Trivia[]
- In Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, a solar system was once used for playing a game of pool.
