A Entire Homestuck Timeline.

The chronology of Homestuck, while presented in a narrative format with an easily identifiable beginning, middle and end, spans multiple dimensions, timelines and frames of reference which are not strictly temporally linked.

Universe A

For a more comprehensive history of Alternia and Beforus, including the events of the spinoff Hiveswap, see chronology of Alternia.

Understanding of the Alternian calendar is limited, and very few exact dates are known.

Pre-scratch

• A meteor carrying a Frog Temple lands on Beforus' pink moon.
• Meteors carrying Feferi Peixes and 11 other trolls land on Beforus.
• Meteors carrying Meenah Peixes and 11 other trolls also land on Beforus.
• Meenah flees her responsibilities to the pink moon, and finds the Frog Temple containing the code for Sgrub.
• Meenah and her 11 friends begin a session of Sgrub.
• Three sweeps later: After the session is deemed unwinnable, the Alpha trolls initiate the scratch, creating a second, post-scratch timeline within Universe A.
  • Meenah uses The Tumor to kill herself and the rest of the A1 trolls, preserving their existences as ghosts in the dream bubbles.

Post-scratch

• A Frog Temple carrying Doc Scratch lands on Alternia.
• Meteors carrying Meenah Peixes and 11 other trolls land on Alternia.
• After an unsuccessful revolution led by Rufioh Nitram, almost all adult trolls are banished from Alternia.
• Thousands of years later: Meteors carrying Feferi Peixes and 11 other trolls land on Alternia.
• Team Charge debacle occurs, killing Aradia Megido and severely injuring Tavros Nitram, Terezi Pyrope and Vriska Serket.
• Aradia discovers one Frog Temple in the caverns beneath Alternia, allowing Sollux Captor to begin programming Sgrub.
• 12th bilunar perigee of the 6th dark season's equinox: Karkat Vantas' 6th wriggling day. The development of Sgrub Beta is finished. Hivebent begins.

Session A2

• The Beta trolls enter the Medium, initiating the Reckoning. ** Gl'bgolyb releases the Vast Glub, killing Sollux, his ancestor, and every other troll in the galaxy save for the Condesce.
• Vriska is fatally injured by Aradiabot and ascends to the god tiers after being placed on her Quest Cocoon.
• The trolls defeat the Black King and create Universe B.
• Jack Noir from the B1 session arrives, and a Mysterious Countdown starts.

Post-reckoning

• A Scurrilous Straggler and several other exiled Dersites arrive on Alternia. SS becomes Spades Slick.
• Diamonds Droog, Hearts Boxcars, Clubs Deuce and Snowman locate and interact with the trolls on their computer terminals.
• Slick, Droog, Boxcars, Clubs Deuce form the Midnight Crew, while Snowman is recruited into the Felt.
• Slick and the Midnight Crew build a new city on the ravaged Alternian surface, while the Felt establish a manor above the location of Karkat's exile terminal.
• The events of the first Intermission begin; the Midnight Crew raids the Felt Manor.
• Time shenanigans ensue; by the end only Spades Slick, Snowman and Doc Scratch survive. Spades Slick discover's Karkat's terminal beneath the Felt mansion.
• 612 solar sweeps after the Reckoning: The Condesce arrives at Alternia and is confronted by Lord English's Handmaid, killing her and taking her place in Lord English's service.
• The Condesce departs for Universe B through unknown means.
• Andrew Hussie aggrieves Doc Scratch, apparently leading to his death
• Slick shoots Snowman, destroying the universe.
• The second Intermission begins. Lord English emerges from the dead Doc Scratch, releasing the Vast Honk, and travelling back to Alternia's beginning to allow all this to happen in the first place.

Universe B

Pre-scratch

• 412,997,991-04-13 BCE, ??:??: Becquerel arrives on Skaian Meteor, along with the Frog Temple.
• 1910-04-13, ??:??: Jane arrived on her meteor and is taken in by Colonel Sassacre.
• 1910-04-21, ??:??: A Skaian meteor arrives in the Colonel's backyard, carrying Jake. The impact destroys Halley's dog house, but it doesn't kill the pet himself. Jake subsequently kills the Colonel with dual flintlock pistols, and the dog becomes the duo's new guardian.
• 1923-04-21, ??:??: Jake leaves with Halley, leaving Jane to be raised by Betty Crocker. He takes the surname Harley and later founds Skaianet.
• 1964-01-07, ??:??: Nicolas Cage, a favorite actor of John and Vriska's, is born
• 197?-??-??, ??:??: Somewhere around this point in the timeline, meteors containing Roxy Lalonde and Dirk Strider presumably arrive.
• 19??-??-??, ??:??: Jake meets and later marries A. Claire.
• 1980-03-05, ??:??: Joey Claire, the biological daughter of Jake Harley and A. Claire, is born.
• 198?-??-??, ??:??: Jude Harley is born.
• 1984/5-??-??, ??:??: A. Claire passes away. Jake becomes increasingly absent in his children's lives.
• 198?-??-??, ??:??: Roxy starts babysitting Joey and Jude.
• 1994-11-11, ??:??: Hiveswap: Act 1 begins. Half-Harley Manor is attacked by monsters, prompting Joey to take shelter in the manor's attic, which results in her getting spirited away into Alternia after finding and activating the serpent portal.
• 1995-12-01, ??:??: The Skaian meteor carrying Jade arrives while Jane and her son are taking a walk by the Betty Crocker factory in their neighborhood. Jade is found and adopted by Jake Harley.
• 1995-12-03, ??:??: Jake and Jade settle the newfound island. Bec watches from the Temple. The meteor carrying Dave is overhead, and it lands later that day, destroying Dirk's favorite record shop.
• 1995-12-04, ??:??: Dirk Strider collects Dave from the impact site. The meteor carrying Rose Lalonde enters the atmosphere and lands near a lake in the eastern US.
• 1996-04-13, ??:??: John's meteor arrives. It lands the same neighborhood as Jade's meteor, destroying Prankster's Gambit and killing Jane. Roxy flees; Mr. Egbert stores her scarf for later and adopts John.
• 1997-06-06, ??:??: Con Air is released. This is where the Bunny's journey begins.
• ????-12-01, ??:??: At one of the past Jade's birthdays, she receives the package sent by John (from the future, for her 13th birthday), containing the Blue Slime Ghost shirt and some pumpkin seeds.
• ????-??-??, ??:??: Jade accidentally kills Jake and subsequently stuffs him.
• 2008-04-13, 4:13 (PM): John and Jade have the first conversation EVER.
• 2008-08-26, ??:??: This picture is taken.
• 2008-12-1/3/4, ??:??: In a four day period Jade's, Dave's and Rose's birthdays happen. All four kids exchange various packages.
• 2009-04-10, ??:??: Sburb Beta is released. This is the original date of Homestuck.
• 2009-04-13, 16:13: John's 13th birthday. Homestuck: Act 1 begins.
• 2009-04-13, ~17:40 (PST): John enters the Medium. Act 1 ends and Act 2 begins.
• 2009-04-13, ~20:40 (PST): Rose enters the Medium. Act 3 ends and Act 4 begins.
• 2009-04-15, ~01:00 (PST): Dave enters the Medium.
• 2009-04-15, ~05:30 (PST): Act 4 ends. The Reckoning starts at this point. The narrative next focuses on the trolls' arc (detailed sequence below).
• 2009-04-14, ~06:00 (PST): Jade enters the Medium. Each entrance is represented by a meteor, with Jade's and Dave's meteors being the two biggest ones. Jade's meteor is exploded by kernelsprite Becquerel, preventing the Earth from destruction but in turn barring it from all human life.
• 2009-04-14, ~20:30: John retrieves The Tumor and asks Wizardly Vassal, Courtyard Droll and Liv Tyler to deliver it to Rose. Jade breeds the Genesis Frog. Rose goes grimdark. Both Rose and Dave are killed by Jack Noir. Their dream selves set off with the Moon of Derse to deliver The Tumor to the location of the , hoping to explode it, but instead creating it.
• 2009-04-15, ~05:30: The events of Cascade occur. The scratch happens. By this time, all four kids have become god tier, alpha Dave and Rose are inside the , and John and Jade have crossed the Fourth Wall and entered the realm of Hussie's direct interference.
• 2009-08-26,  ??:??: In Dave's alternate future, he goes back in time and becomes Davesprite, and Rose's dream self merges with alpha Rose's mind. As John and Jade are dead, the scratch in the way we know it is prevented.
• 2422-04-13, ??:??: The exiles stumble upon several bases, get them all in one place, and start rebuilding the civilization. The Writ Keeper and Jack Noir emerge from the Lotus Time Capsule. Jack Noir kills AR, WQ, and WK. He fatally wounds WV and absconds to the trolls' Incipisphere. Prospitian Monarch transports WV to the meteor, and Serenity follows. PM proceeds to follow Jack Noir (who is in turn following the meteor) for three years.

Post-scratch

• BC 412,997,992-04-13, ??:??: God Cat arrives on a Skaian Meteor, along with the Frog Temple.

• 2011-11-11, 11:11 (AM): Crockercorp undergoes a rebranding, changing its "spoon" logo into the Condesce's "fork" logo.
• 2011-11-11, ??:??: Jane enters the Medium. The Condesce reveals herself to the world.
• 2011-11-11, ??:??: Jane, Dirk and Roxy emerge from the Frog Temple's Lotus Time Capsule. The alpha kids enter the Medium at around the same time.
• 2012-04-12, ??:??: Timeskip ends (after 5 months of futzing around in the Medium). Roxy and Jane prepare for the latter's birthday.
• 2012-04-13, ??:??: The B2 kids come down from their Trickster Mode trip. Jack Noir becomes imbued with English's power, and the Condesce and Jack destroy Derse and Prospit's moons, respectively. The kids all ascend to god tier. Jack lunges at Jake and Jane, but the Battleship arrives in the session just in time and pre-scratch Jade teleports to save her dancestors. The Condesce mind-controls Jade, who in turn teleports Jane's Tiaratop onto her head and teleports a charging Dirk to the edge of the Incipisphere. She then captures Roxy, while Jane does the same to Jake, taking them captive on Derse.
• 2012-04-13, ??:??: Trolls' meteor arrives in the B2 Incipisphere. The surviving A2 Trolls and B1 Kids, along with Jake meet upon the victory platform. They split up to prepare for the oncoming battles of the Condesce, Bec Noir, Jack English, Spades Slick with the Felt, and of course Lord English.
• 2012-04-13, ??:??: The events of Collide occur. The Condesce along with all other enemies are killed except for Lord English.
• 2012-04-13, ??:??: The events of Act 7 occur. A black hole created by Alternate Calliope consumes the . Lord English is presumably killed/defeated. The remaining characters enter the door to Universe C, taking Earth with them.
• ????-??-??, ??:??: The Condesce starts altering Earth to be more suitable for her and her empire. Rose and Dave are killed by her in a last effort to stop her.
• 2409-12-3/4, ??:??: Dirk Strider and Roxy Lalonde's meteors land on Earth.
• 2422-12-01, ??:??: Dirk tells Jake about Earth's past and the Condesce's actions.
• 2424-11-11, ??:??: The Red Miles strike Earth. Sawtooth enters the Medium with Dirk's house, and Squarewave enters the Medium with Roxy's.
• 2424-11-11, ??:??: Vriska (or Grimbark Jade pre-retcon) arrives on Earth on trolls' meteor through a Skaian defense portal, captchalogues the planet and takes it back to B2 session.

Universe C

• 0000-01-01: All surviving characters who know about Universe C inhabit the Earth placed in the new universe to begin new lives. They enter the meteor and ectobiologically create the first batch of humans, trolls, and carapacians. The Mayor and Prospitian Monarch take the batch to presumably spread across Earth to create the new civilization.
• 5000-??-??: The humans, trolls and Calliope time travel 5,000 years into the future to observe the new Earth.
• 5001-??-??: Kanaya Maryam and Rose get married.
• 5002-04-13: John celebrated his 18th birthday. Most of the humans and Karkat are present.
• 5002-04-13: Terezi is shown near a black hole that sucked the and is looking for who is assumed to be Vriska.
• 5002-??-??: Jane and Jake found Crockercorp and Skaianet Industries respectively. Crockercorp's stock is shown to be going up.
• 5003-04-13: John celebrates his 19th birthday. Jade arrives at his house while Rose, Kanaya, Roxy, Calliope, and the Carapacians all wish him a happy birthday. Rose and Kanaya are shown to be doing well in breeding new batches of trolls.
• 5004-04-13: John celebrates his 20th birthday, he recieves an authentic Dad hat and pipe. Caliborn (who has attained God Tier and pool ball eyes) sends him threatening messages. In retaliation, John breaks his phone with a hammer.

Indefinite future

• Earth C's sun becomes a red supergiant. The civilizations have fallen.
• ????-11-11, ??:??: Caliborn and Calliope's father lays their egg on Earth C. Gamzee Makara sets up their room inside the trolls' meteor, and they grow up there.
• ????-11-11, ??:??: 16 years/11 units later, Caliborn murders Calliope and enters the Medium. Yaldabaoth takes up residence at Earth C's core.
