From the reader's point of view, Davepetasprite^2's story in The Homestuck Epilogues picks up from where their Canon biography ended.

After being defeated by Lord English, Davepetasprite^2 returns to the battle by slamming onto the cherub in bolt of orange-and-green energy that sends him stumbling down, John Egbert and Dave Strider (especially Dave) are unable to process just what they are looking at, so Davepeta gives them a brief explanation of who they are and makes an inspiring speech, before teaming up with them to finally defeat Lord English as the last 3 living or dead beings left in all of paradox space.

John starts off by sending a spiral of hammers into Lord English's face, while Dave cuts him on the side and Davepeta slashes his back with their claws and kicks him on the back of the head, John then ends the combo with an undercut to his jaw... which unfortunately gives English the opportunity to unhinge his jaw and try to eat John, he fails due to Davepeta's intervention, but not without rehinging his jaw and clamping down on John chest, impailing him with his poisonous golden tooth.

Davepetasprite^2 then places him outside of the battle and makes him promise not to move before returning to the fight. After Dave plunges Caledfwlch into English's chest and subsequently gets his head bitten off, Davepetasprite^2 yowls at the top of their lungs, clings onto the demon's back, buries their claws deep within his flesh, and flies off into the black hole in one final sacrifice, fufilling the destiny they sensed they had since the moment of their creation.

Davepetasprite^2 is among the first characters to welcome Vriska Serket to the inside of The Plot Point, who at first mistakes them for Nepeta. Davepeta explains the nature of Vriska's predicament, through which they intend to help her become a better person. They continue to advise her into year 2 of her journey, but struggle to address specific "Serket problems" and eventually leave her to deal with Tavros Nitram on her own.

During year 4, Davepeta is seen calling Jasprosesprite^2 while she is in Midnight City. Davepeta talks about their progress with Vriska, while Jasprose describes her progress with Jane. After this, Davepeta then wishes luck to Vriska, along with Fefetasprite. Vriska questions how Davepeta and Fefeta can exist at the same time, which causes Fefeta to disappear, which Davepeta describes as being sent to sprite city. Davepeta hugs Vriska, and gives her the 8-ball to send her to her last hell.
