Dubiously CanonElwurd is among the aliases used by a blue blooded troll living on Alternia during the time of Joey Claire's visit. Her other aliases include Gaegrl, Rxsell and Skalpr; it is unclear which of these, if any, is her real name.
Her sign is Scornius, sign of the Radical, which has a Prospit sway and is bound to the Hope aspect.
Concept and creation[]
Elwurd was first revealed during the Hiveswap Troll Call event alongside Galekh Xigisi on January 10th, 2018. The bullet points on her Troll Call card were "has her shit together", "knows your mom", and "not vriska". Her bullet points altered as from December 6, 2018 to "Many names and even more for sale", "A fantastic date" and "Your crush is cute, kid, but don't get any ideas".
Elwurd was one of multiple members of the blue caste to be compared to Vriska Serket on their Troll Call card (with Ardata Carmia being "probably vriska"); despite being "not vriska", Elwurd in fact shares a musical theme with Vriska, 'Superego', in the dubiously canonical Hiveswap Friendship Simulator: Volume 6.
Etymology[]
"Elwurd" reads phonetically as "L-word", a euphemism for lesbians and lesbianism. "Gaegrl", similarly, reads as "gay girl".
"Rxsell" is a compound form of "Rx sell", Rx or ℞ being shorthand for a medical prescription (from Latin recipere); alluding to Elwurd's substance dealing. "Skalpr" is phonetically similar to "scalper", a person who engages in unfair reselling practices.
Elwurd's character reference code is abbreviated as "KE" within Act 2's files,[citation needed] possibly hinting that K may be the first letter of one of her true names.
Biography[]
Elwurd appears in multiple parts of Hiveswap: Act 2. She first appears in the train station where she offers Joey drugs and flirts with her. After she and Xefros question her about getting train tickets she offer to give them two fake tickets for one real one. It is optional to do this and trade Zebruh's ticket and pogs for the tickets. She later appears in the cerulean train car. Joey asks her for a muscular theater costume so she can fight Nihkee and get to the next car. Elwurd refuses at first, but after Joey asks Ardata Carmia, Elwurd agrees to stop Joey from being killed and gives her a pirate costume, reflecting the culture of the blue caste. Joey once again come to her for help after the purplebloods don't believe she killed Tegiri. Elwurd gets Remele to paint the fake blade in teal paint (blood) for her.

Joey Claire[]
Elwurd flirts with Joey every time they talk and offers her various things to help for the right price. Joey doesn't understand her advances though she does get flustered but they seem to overall get along despite Elwurd scamming her and Elwurd saves her from getting killed by Ardata.
Remele Namaaq[]
Remele and Elwurd seem to be on good terms as she is able to convince her to do a favor for Joey.
Mallek Adalov[]
Elwurd and Mallek seem to get along and she is aware of his "hackavist group" and teases him.
