The two templates I wanted to bring up are the one on the user page, and the one on the talk page.
1. The one on the user page.
There isn't much wrong here. The writing is good, and right to the point, except for one huge thing. The link to the user page guidelines is either incorrect or deleted.
"This is your user page. Please edit this page to tell the community about yourself! But be sure to follow the User page policy."
If it was deleted, then it's probably known already, but it either needs to be remade/corrected now or just entirely replaced. New members will be confused if their is a link to guidelines that don't exist.
Fixed thanks to The Light6.
2. The one on the talk page.
When we removed the auto welcome due to it welcoming vandals and image hosters, it was expected that it would happen at least sometimes. It hasn't. There is a template for welcoming new members everyone. It's been here for a year. it's {{Welcome}} or {{WelcomeIP}} if it's an IP adress. This can be excused as it doesn't really matter, but I would rather have it being used more often than not.
I don't want to be a complete sour puss, but these things need to be fixed.

- On the first one, the link would be outdated because of a change that happened just 5 days ago, I'll try to figure out how to update that soon.
- As for the second one, I still believe that auto-welcoming is a bad idea, but yes, we need to be more consistent in welcoming users.
