Gcatavrosprite is Jane Crocker's sprite post-retcon, the result of a sprite being prototyped once with Tavros Nitram and then a second time with God Cat.

Biography

Tavrosprite was created when Vriska Serket flung Tavros' corpse into Jane's kernelsprite, and was among the Heroes grouped on the B2 session's victory platform. There, he began to bond with Jake English, no doubt due in part to their compatible Page personalities.

Tavrosprite follows Jake to the Land of Mounds and Xenon. There, Vriska contacts Jake with instructions to summon the God Cat with a mouse toy; per Vriska's instructions, he tells Tavrosprite to “apprehend this feline”, causing GCat to be prototyped and the genesis of Gcatavrosprite. Vriska then immediately puts the amalgamation to sleep, and explains to Jake that her plan has always been to utilize Tavros' “mentally suggesti8le” brain to neutralize GCat's influence on the session.

On Earth C

With the final battle done and the new universe created, Gcatavrosprite joins Jake and Dirk Strider in the Consort Kingdom, his self-allergy seemingly under control.

Personality and traits

Little is known about Gcatavrosprite, having been put to sleep mere seconds after his creation. Jake speculates that Tavros' cat allergies have made Gcatavrosprite allergic to himself, evidenced by his frequent sneezing; though this apparently does not make his existence quite as “iRRRRRRRRECONCILA8LE” as Tavrisprite, as he continues to frolick happily around the Consort Kingdom once the game is done.

On Snapchat (Dubiously Canon)

On Halloween, Gcatavrosprite joined Jasprosesprite^2 and some consorts for some trick-or-treating dressed as Jade Harley's Grandpa.

Trivia

Vriska was responsible for the prototyping of both Jane and Jade Harley's kernelsprites, and prototyped each with a first guardian. Jane being a Hero of Life and Tavros being a Hero of Breath also mirrors Nannasprite, an (alternate timeline) Hero of Life acting as the sprite for a Hero of Breath.
