- For the location, see Hauntswitch (location).
Hauntswitch is a planned sequel to Hiveswap, intended to star Dammek's adventures on Earth simultaneous to the human who switched places with him on Alternia, Joey Claire.
It is named for the town in which Joey and Jude Harley's Half-Harley Manor is located, which, like Hiveswap, also doubles as a portmanteau meaning to 'swap homes'.
History and development[]
Plans for Hauntswitch's development were first mentioned in a June 2016 interview with Hiveswap: Act 1 writer Cohen Edenfield.[1] An official press kit for Act 1 released on September 14 of the next year shared further information, that the games would be "playable in either order" with saves continuing "from chapter to chapter, then from game to game".[2] As of 2024, the project is still in consideration for after Hiveswap's conclusion.[3]
Plot[]
