Itchy is the first member of the Felt.

Concept and creation

Itchy's hat is designed after the yellow billiard ball numbered 1, and his name comes from ichi (一), the Japanese word for the number. It also alludes to the name of Doc Scratch, and is indicative of his highly-strung demeanor.

Biography

Caliborn's session

Itchy originated on a planet colored like a yellow billiard ball, formed when the Battlefield in Caliborn's session exploded. Caliborn was awarded Itchy as his first follower when he destroyed the planet by sending it into the black hole formed by the Battlefield's death.

Intermission - original timeline

In the intermission, Itchy used his abilities to sneak up on Clubs Deuce, free Doze and swap the Midnight Crew's hats around. Spades Slick was able to trip him up by simply sticking out one leg and waiting for him to stumble over it. Spades then used his Cast Iron Horse Hitcher on Itchy.

Intermission - unfavorable timeline

After Slick broke open Lord English's vault, he was transported to a “highly unfavorable timeline” where Itchy and the rest of the Felt (save Snowman) were dead.

Act 6

Slick later found himself in Itchy and the rest of the Felt's company (again save Snowman) when he pulled their pins from Die's doll. Itchy recognises Slick as his new leader due to his possession of Lord English's cuestaff, and Crowbar leads them all through the fifth wall into Doc Scratch's apartment to find the magic timepiece, which can be used as an emergency exit. Along the way, Itchy gathers with Die, Trace, Fin and Clover to play a quick game of “TABLE STICKBALL”, pulling a pool table and cue out of one of their inventories.

Slick forces Itchy and the rest of the Felt into Biscuits' oven to fit them through the clock, and after a long flight to the B2 session, he dumps the gang on the Land of Mounds and Xenon while he flies away to fight the nearest version of Lord English.^{[citation needed]} On LOMAX, Itchy and the Felt come into conflict with Jake English; after a long and arduous battle involving multiple knocks into next week and an army of undead consorts, Jake manages to defeat the gang.

On Snapchat (Dubiously Canon)

In late November 2016, a different Jack Noir appeared on Snapchat to be in control of the Felt. While they were ordered to construct a new Felt mansion on the Land of Frost and Frogs, Itchy did not offer much help, instead riding aloft the trunk of one of LOFAF's green trees while other members of the gang carried it to the construction site. When Crowbar spots the gateway to Earth C, Jack identifies it as new territory to be taken over, and Itchy's future pathway is presumably among those seen leading through the gateway. Though Jack tries to reach the Earth with the Felt hidden inside a rocket-propelled oven juju, the gang is intercepted on the moon by Jane Crocker, who takes control of the operation.

Skills and abilities

Itchy has the ability to move at incredible speeds, moving through rooms and performing simple actions in the blink of an eye. He forms a pair with Doze, who moves with superhuman slowness; as Doze's ability is actually to “slow time down for himself”, it is possible Itchy's speed actually stems from an ability to speed time up for himself; however, an excessive consumption of caffeine may also be a contributing factor.

Weapons and paraphernalia

As first seen in Collide, Itchy employs a single (1) shot J Stevens Arms Company 22 pistol for ranged combat, and a Louisville Slugger Babe Ruth baseball bat - for hitting singles - in close quarters. Though he appears to fire his single shot pistol multiple times without reloading, he may merely be very quick.
