Jack Noir was the Archagent of Derse before it was consumed by the black hole in the center of Caliborn's deadsession.
What happened to the Jack Noir of the Alternate Calliope's dead session is not known.

First hire[]
In the time before Caliborn began playing Sburb, he and his sister lived in a shared body and room; however, when one of them controlled their waking body, the other was awake as their dream self. In order to gain full control of their body, Caliborn planned to have his sister's dream self killed. Being a “DERSE GuY”
and his sister dreaming in Prospit orbit, he wasn't able to complete this task himself. Instead he was able to come into contact with Jack, and bribe him with his favourite candy to do the job. Caliborn suspects, though, that Jack “WAS PROBABLY WILLING TO DO IT [...] WITHOuT THE BRIBE”, speculation supported by the actions of other instances of Jack.
Second alliance with Caliborn[]
Later on, when Caliborn's quest took him to the domain of the Black Queen, he recruited Jack a second time to assist in their mutual grudge against the Glorious Monarch. Caliborn decided around this time that “GETTING JACK TO DO VIOLENT THINGS FOR [HIM]” was always a good idea, possibly leading to Jack's frequent involvement in Lord English's machinations later on in his timeline. Caliborn also decided, however, that although Jack “WOULD MAKE A GOOD FRIEND. IF THE CONCEPT OF FRIENDSHIP WASN'T HORRID AND MEANINGLESS”, he would have to dispose of the carapacian after his purpose had been served so as to not “LEAVE STRAY NOIRS WANDERING AROUND” - and in fact Caliborn's Jack is the only shown instance not to be involved in the events of Collide.
