James Roach

James Roach, sometimes credited as James "soselfimportant" Roach, is a musician, writer, and director of the Homestuck Independent Creative Union responsible for Homestuck: Beyond Canon.

A long-time fan and collaborator of Homestuck, his first music credits appeared in the coloUrs and mayhem duology of fan-made albums. With only a couple of his tracks appearing in the comic proper, he rose to higher prominence after the comic's conclusion, becoming a leading musician and sound designer for both Hiveswap and its spinoffs Hiveswap Friendship Simulator and Pesterquest.
