Ms. Paint is a Prospitian carapacian, and companion to the author of her adventures, Andrew Hussie.
Concept and creation[]

Ms. Paint assisting in (not) updating the comic.[citation needed]
Ms. Paint's first appearance came just a day after a tweet to Hussie from Ryan North, who asked "Who is Ms. Paint and why has she not shown up in her own Adventures"? In addition to her name referencing the MS Paint Adventures webcomic, she serves a similar purpose to the digital image manipulation software that shares her name, carrying around a paint bucket which she uses to decorate backgrounds
and leave messages regarding the story's development. It should be noted, however, that Homestuck was not actually illustrated using any software with that name.
Biography[]
Briefly encountering Jade Harley once as she explored Prospit in her dreams, Ms. Paint was later a member of the royal entourage
the White Queen brought with her in exile to the post-apocalyptic Earth. How her story progresses from the destruction of the Earth is not known.
Some instance of Ms. Paint appears again, though, in the company of Andrew Hussie, dressed in the Three in the Morning Dress to suit the author's new the Felt-themed accoutrements. She continues to assist him in his Hussiebot form in setting up the comic's end-of-Act curtains
and helping to put together character select screens, and acts as his nurse as he looks after the injured Spades Slick.

Ms. Paint is seemingly threatened by the sudden incursion of Lord English into Hussie's manor, but survives to mourn the slain author.
Slick discovers her hiding
from the Lord of Time, and she retrieves for him his personals
so that he can make pursuit. When Slick bands the Felt back together, she takes up the vacant eighth position, returning to wearing the Three in the Morning number for the occasion
and joining the leprechauns in Biscuits' oven.
As with the rest of the gang, Paint is left on Jake English's Land of Mounds and Xenon as their leader goes to fight the session's “closest thing passing” for Lord English.
In the ensuing battle with the young English, Ms. Paint refrains from contributing to the combat, only resurfacing to patch up the wounds
on the other Jack Noir, who seems enchanted by her scandalous display.
