Dubiously CanonPolypa Goezee is an olive blooded troll living on Alternia during the time of Joey Claire's visit.
Her sign is Leus, sign of the Flexible, which has a Prospit sway and is bound to the Breath aspect.
Concept and creation[]
During development, Polypa was codenamed "Survivor". She was designed by Poinko; placeholder signs used during her development included Leicorn[2] and True Leo.[3] Her design references the outfits worn by chūnin in the Naruto series of manga and anime.[4]
Polypa was first revealed during the Hiveswap Troll Call event alongside Tegiri Kalbur on December 27, 2017. Her bullet points were "can't catch her if she's on fire*" (referencing a comic by Christopher Hastings), "pitiless mercenary", and "gives excellent relationship advice... to the highest bidder", as well as a footnote saying "*bandages unrelated to fire". Her bullet points altered as from December 6, 2018 to "Highblood, lowblood, doesn't matter. She'll take the job", "Can't catch her if she's on fire" and "Nuanced opinions on popular culture".
Etymology[]
The name Polypa could be a modification of the word "polyp", the small, juvenile form of organisms in the phylum Cnidaria (jellyfish). Her last name may be a reference to Albert Goozee, a 20th-century British murderer. It may also be a modification of the word "gauze", referencing her bandages.

In Hiveswap Act 2 Polypa appears in the gold and olive train car. She offers to do a job for Joey and Xefros and they ask her to restrain Konyyl in her argument with Azdaja. Polypa agrees to do it for free because they are annoying her.
