Quarters is the fourteenth member of the Felt.
Concept and creation[]
Quarters' hat is designed after the green-striped billiard ball numbered 14. His name is phonetically similar to quatorze, the French name for the number fourteen; in English, a quarter also refers to 1/4th, one quarter of a dollar being a common coin in the United States, alluding to Quarters' unique juju.
Biography[]
Caliborn's session[]
Quarters originated on a planet colored like a green-striped billiard ball, formed when the Battlefield in Caliborn's session exploded.
Alongside the planets associated with Crowbar and Matchsticks, however, his planet was not able to escape the event horizon of the black hole formed by the Battlefield's destruction, and the three fell inside before Caliborn's game could properly begin. As such, Quarters joined Caliborn as a follower alongside Biscuits after the orange-striped thirteenth planet was destroyed.
Intermission - original timeline[]
Again alongside Crowbar and Matchsticks, Quarters was already killed before Spades Slick began his assault on the Felt mansion in the Intermission.
Intermission - unfavorable timeline[]
Some time after Slick brings about “a highly unfavorable timeline” by breaking into Lord English's vault, Slick begins to cause trouble in Doc Scratch's apartment, and Clover uses one of Quarters' magic quarters to summon him to deal with the problem. In one timeline, Quarters deals with the rogue Dersite with his minigun, but Snowman is able to prevent this by running the leprechaun through with her lance. As with Matchsticks coming from the past only to be killed by Slick, this is likely how Quarters died in the first place. Their corpses are later teleported away by Doc Scratch.
Act 6[]
Slick later revives Quarters with Die's doll, and he and the rest of the revived Felt go on to fight Jake English in Collide. However Jake and Jane Crocker's combined efforts are able to subdue the gang.

On Snapchat (Dubiously Canon)[]
After being once again reunited by Jack Noir and the new number 8 Ms. Paint, Stitch, Sawbuck, Matchsticks and Quarters are distracted from the task of building a new Felt Manor by the opportunity to bet on frog fights, having dressed some of the Land of Frost and Frogs' native amphibians in duds matching their own.
Weapons and paraphernalia[]
Unlike many members of the Felt, Quarters does not seem to have an innate power of his own. Instead he uses a series of magical coins to transport himself and his fellow Felt members around.[1]
Quarters' hefty frame makes it easy for him to carry around a heavy minigun for ranged combat[citation needed]; in Collide he is seen using a Hook Jaw Monkey Wrench resembling his own silhouette for closer-quarters fights.[1]
