The Mortician
was the forty-second Paradox Space story.
Story[]
Terezi Pyrope is playing pretend with her scalemates. She puts Officer Cinnamonwhiff on trial. She acts like he is denying the charges and corrects him by stabbing him in the stomach. Terezi proceeds to condemn the entire jury for being accessories to the crime. She graphically dismembers them, throws them in a box, and calls the mortician.
The box, alongside a note, is sent to the mortician, Kanaya Maryam. Annoyed by this, she reads the back of the note, which tells her not to “PR3T3ND L1KE [SHE DOESN'T] ENJOY 4 GOOD G4M3 OF DR3SS-UP”. She then puts on a surgeon's outfit and happily stitches the scalemates up for their corpse parties.
